Meet the Coordinators

Welcome New Sidizens!

We are Jaylin, Ananya, and Abby, your 2024 Orientation Week Coordinators! The Sid community has had such a great impact on each of us, and we have had the privilege of spending the last several months planning YOUR Orientation Week. We can’t wait to meet each and every one of you, and now you can get to know a little bit about us <3

SRR LFA,

Pearl JAA(m)

(Jaylin, Ananya, and Abby)

  • Introducing the man who needs no introduction… the textbook definition of a social butterfly, the one and only Jaylin Vinson and one of your incredible 2024 Sid O-Week Coordinators! You can spot him from a mile away with his signature shoulder shimmying and unforgettable dance moves as he leads prospective students around campus while catering to the parents with his perfectly curated dad jokes. This accomplished senior from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is a Music Composition major and makes sure to let everyone know this through his endless singing, random harmonies, and unnecessary beatboxing. You can always count on Jaylin to start a conversation with anyone, and within a few minutes you will already have your own handshake. Although befriending Jaylin will result in an influx of google calendar invites with misspelled words, random calls, and knocks on your door for out-of-the-blue chats, he is the most dependable friend that you can always count on. You can rely on him to bring  his larger-than-life event planning ideas and charismatic energy to iHeartRadiO-Week: you’re in the best hands with Jaylin as your Coord!

-Ananya Lertpradist, Sid Richardson '26; Abby McKellop, Sid Richardson 26'

  • Meet Ananya, the ultimate coffee shop girlie who’s always on the lookout for the perfect little drink and cozy corner to get her creative juices flowing. At 5'2", this tall queen might be small in stature, but she's a giant when it comes to her Canva skills. Carrying the creative vision and graphic design skills of the team on her back, Ananya is the Coordinator that will always be making sure iHeartRadiO-Week is curated to perfection.  As the resident San Antonio expert, Ananya can guide you through the city's hidden gems while sipping on her beloved Matcha lattes, which she swears by like it’s a magical elixir. Her mornings start at the crack of dawn with a 7:30 AM gym session, of which she will try to invite anyone and everyone through a trusty google calendar invite.  The grind never stops for this Kinesiology and Cognitive Sciences double major, as this Power Yoga fanatic puts her studies into practice (you might even get to see her headstand if she’s feeling like showing off) bending and stretching in ways that defy human anatomy. Ananya is also the go-to vlogger of the friend group, capturing every laugh, mishap, and epic moment on camera with the finesse of a Hollywood director. Her love for a good country ham sandwich is legendary, and she’ll make sure you know it’s the best decision you’ll ever make. With a heart as warm as her matcha and a sense of humor that keeps everyone in stitches, Ananya is the glue that holds our iHeartRadiO-Week team together.

-Jaylin Vinson, Sid Richardson '25; Abby McKellop, Sid Richardson '26

  • Meet Abby, the quintessential junior Ohioan whose spirit is as vibrant as her snack stash of Cheez-its, cheese and cashews, and chocolate-covered pretzels. Standing at a mighty 5 '2, this short queen is a powerhouse, both on the volleyball court and as a dependable member of the iHeartRadiO-Week Coordinating team. When she’s not spiking volleyballs, she’s soft launching her pickleball era (but it's on the downlow). If you are ever wondering where Abby has disappeared to, she is likely laying on her bedroom floor, watching the newest season of the Bachelor, or singing her heart out to the Bellas from Pitch Perfect. Her love for music is boundless, except when it comes to Post Malone’s country phase, which she staunchly avoids. Her fascination with phospholipid bilayers (and other things that make it painfully obvious she is a biochem major) might sound geeky, but it’s just another testament to her multifaceted personality. Always ready with a witty comment and a warm smile, Abby is the friend who can turn any moment into a memorable one. Her infectious laughter and genuine care make her the heart of every gathering. Whether she's cheering you on or offering a shoulder to lean on, Abby will always have your back.
