This pre-med junior from Sid Richardson stands at 5’11’’, has bodacious blonde hair, and dimples that will make any grown man crumple. If you need someone to procrastinate an exam with, he’s your guy. Want to hoop? Sure. Wanna hit a lift? Yea when. “Brawl Stars?” I’m already on, join me. He’s a burst of energy in pickup basketball at the Recreation Center—he’s everywhere on the court. On the weekends, you can catch him chilling, watching RedZone while having 4 exams and 2 projects that week. No matter how little he studies, he always gets the job done. Meet Navika, one of your O-Week Advisors! Navika is a rising sophomore majoring in Economics and Business on the pre-law track, and she can’t wait to welcome you to Rice. When she's not hitting the books, you'll probably find her out on a hiking trail or trying the monthly Rice Coffeehouse drink. She’s always down to go on a side quest with friends-especially if there's a sweet treat involved. Navika is a big fan of traveling and loves exploring new places, whether it's a new coffee shop or an international adventure. She's also completely obsessed with her dog Hachi so don't be surprised if you hear a few stories (or ten) about her furry best friend. Navika can't wait to get to know you and help make your transition to Rice as fun and memorable as possible!

Hailing from Irvine, California, Claudia—affectionately known as Cloud—is a senior at Sid pursuing a major in Cognitive Sciences, with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Sociology. Not only does she seem to do everything and anything on campus, our Rice Marketing queen, Rice Design Design-a-thon AND GenShe Make-a-thon director, and campus flower shop co-founder, can also be found studying at local cafes (specifically with a Peach Green Tea with Aiyu Jelly in hand at Sharetea), hosting whimsical rom-com movie nights with her roommates, or jamming out to late-night carpool karaoke!
