Arjun “Elliott Smith Super Fan” Surya is the type of leader you want in charge—always present and greeting you with a smile before cruising off on his skateboard. His commitment to the bit is unmatched, and his dedication to the art of perfecting the grilled cheese cannot be beaten. As the founder and CEO of Sid Shoots the Cheese, he has fed Sidizens in rain or shine with the tastiest sandwiches this side of Houston. The best person to crash out with, he is one of the most sympathetic souls you can come across at Rice. Hear him strum his guitar from his room at the top of the tower, or come to his chill Town Halls to discuss the political and economic state of Sid—Arjun is always there when you need him. Let him cook.

This is Sophia Lannie, a rising junior from Baytown, Texas so she's basically a native Houstonian and can show you around the city. She is our Chief Justice, so she is your go to girl if you have any questions/comments/concerns about Rice laws. Though she's majoring in Biology and Psychology, she loves to learn and talk about many different subjects, including Greek and Roman art, history, and Harry Potter trivia. Plus, she's a certified instructor (of lifeguards), so she's very capable of teaching you those subjects along with the other vital skills of creating the perfect Seibel iced mocha and the line dance to Copperhead Road. When she's not locked in on Fondren 3rd, you can find her practicing with the Rice Owls Dance Team, which she is the Executive Chair of, watching shows with friends, or planning her next adventure!!!
