  • As a Sports Medicine major hoping to work in orthopedics, Duncan senior Danny Math will be the best lifting partner, rugby teammate, and knockoff chiropractor you could ask for. Beyond cracking your knuckles or cheering on your PR, he’ll be sure to keep you entertained by telling goofy jokes, giving you a review of the Crumbl cookies of the week, and singing the choruses of random pop songs whenever you say a string of words that aligns with the lyrics. Once you meet him, you will never forget that Danny is from Manhattan because he’s always repping some combination of Giants, Mets, and Knicks merch (which is also a testament to his trust and loyalty because none of them ever win). No matter what you do with Danny you’re in for a good time with one of the most simultaneously wholesome and caring people you’ll ever meet (as long as you laugh at his jokes…please…laugh).

  • Diya Vettical, rocketing all the way from Houston, Texas, is a junior majoring in Finance and minoring in Data Science. If you can’t find her, she’s either working at the Moody (too far!) or volunteering at the Rice Women’s Resource Center. She loves to mix up fun drinks (#barista!) for her besties. Diya loves to secretly post, but it’s no secret that anyone is lucky to be around her infectious smile and laugh. She is one of the most supportive, loving, and kind people you’ll meet.

  • ALERT!! FASHIONABLE & LOVING O-WEEK PARENT IN YOUR AREA!!! Coming to you from Redwood City, CA, Misha Patel is ready to advise YOU (yes, YOU)!! This Civil Engineering sophomore cares about you AND the environment as the treasurer of Rice’s American Society of Civil Engineers and a Sid ECO-REP! Her other hobby is making fire SoundCloud beats, and her creative visions are avant-garde and truly ahead of her time. WOW WHAT CAN’T SHE DO?? Surely Misha MUST have some flaws…? Well, yes, as her brain is unfortunately one which has succumbed to advanced brain rot. But fear not, for when one is as in tune as Misha to the zeitgeist of our youth, that rot decomposes into healthy nutrient-filled soil, likely being the origins of her environmental dedication, and serving as the nutrient-rich foundation of her amazing personality. If you’re looking for the best Advisor…CALL SID TO CLAIM MISHA TODAY!!!

  • Alejandro is a rising sophomore from Huntsville, Alabama, double majoring in Sports Medicine and Sports Management. He’s a certified night owl and professional procrastinator—you’ll catch him starting assignments at midnight with a snack in hand, music blasting, and somehow still pulling it off. His music taste is elite, ranging from country like Dylan Gossett to R&B and rap faves like A Boogie. He’s also a die-hard movie and TV buff—from Pulp Fiction to Scream to Dodgeball, he loves em all. When he’s not queuing up a new playlist or playing football or spikeball, Alejandro’s probably out with his friends, turning any night into a party. Despite all that energy, he’s also one of the chillest people you’ll ever meet—laid-back, welcoming, and easy to vibe with. Whether you’re meeting him for the first time or you’ve known him forever, Alejandro’s the kind of guy who makes everyone feel at home.
