If you are reading this and have this wonderful rising Sid Junior from Katy TX as your advisor, be warned that your life will never be the same. No one in the world will care for you like Radhani Kapoor. This OR major pops off as a woman in STEM queen even though she’s never actually been in the OR?! Would you believe it?! Yeah me neither. Radhani will always welcome you for a late night snack and chat with her collection of adorable squishmallows. She is the most caring and loving person who will have your back no matter what. #1TrustFallPartner As a past swimmer and choral expert, her talents have no limits. Ask her to sing a song and prepare your ears for her Disney princess voice. Get ready for an amazing week with Radhani as your advisor.

Hooray! You have lucked out with Connor as your advisor. This Political Science major hailing from Long Island boasts tremendous squash skills. He once lost 66-11 to me, but after hard work he managed to work to just a 29-11 defeat. He is also very musically talented, a member of Rice’s A-Cappella group The Apollos. He has a very diverse music taste and is one of the best people to karaoke with or just listen to music with. I swear there has almost never been a song he didn’t know at a party. Additionally, Connor is one of the most responsible people I know and you are in good hands with him. He has a natural understanding of human emotions. He's tuned in to what others are feeling and knows just how to respond. Whether it's giving someone space when they need it or offering a friendly ear for those who want to talk, Connor is there. He will always have your back and is always just a text away from being there for you. If there’s anything you need, he’ll do his best to get that for you (except for squash tips). It is a privilege to have Connor as a friend and you are as lucky to have him as an advisor.

Meet Julia McDonald, a rising sophomore majoring in Kinesiology Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology on the pre-med track. She is a local Houstonian but very much tied to her Brazilian heritage. When she's not grinding in the Sid 2nd floor study room, you can find her at the rock climbing gym, hanging out with friends, or grabbing starbucks in her fire lululemon outfits. Julia’s infectious smile and radiant personality brightens any room she walks into. Never be afraid to ask her to go on a shopping trip or a boba run (she will never say no). She is also a swiftie and lover of all animals, but above all, a cherry tomato addict- seriously, she eats them with every single meal . Be ready for such an amazing year with her… she can’t wait to meet you!!
